As I said, we spent Father's Day at the Del Mar Fair, chasing after the girls.
Mallory chose to go to church w/ Nana, so we were a family of 4 for the day. It was a weird feeling, having a 1:1 parent:kid ratio.
First things first, the performance.
Have you ever shown up at an event and been wearing the same outfit as someone else?
Maybe.
But has it ever been a Chewbacca shirt? I doubt it.
Always giggling:
Mariah, Emylee, Moi:
Guess who else was there?????
my little love:
I nearly squished him, poor little guy.
I could have sat there and held him for the rest of the day, but his dad wanted him back. And since it was Father's Day, I let him have him.
Then we set out to see what kind of Del Mar Fair fun we could find.
Like taking pictures with {abnormally} large cows:
And riding just a few rides:
Arissa took almost as many pictures as I did, with her fancy new phone:
Mariah stole my sun hat!
She looked cuter in it than I did though, so I let her keep it:
We were all hungry for some good food (no deep-fried butter at the fair for us) so we decided to go pick up Mallory Mae and head to Karl Strauss for Father's Day dinner (which we combined w/ Arissa's birthday dinner, since she and Jesse picked the same place).
Gotta love the fair.
