Our cups "runneth over"...
Our mailboxes, actually.
We keep a bunch of blank notes next to them so people can stop and fill one out as they pass by, as they each do frequently:
Beside the mailboxes is my little Valentine Tree. I put together the "tree" (a bunch of hydrangea branches in a clay pot) 2 years ago for the eggs I hollowed out and painted and hung from it for Easter. I thought it'd be neat to hang different stuff on it for each season, so for Valentine's day I made some little heart decorations of out felt and embroidery floss and ribbon and buttons.
I made a bunch of little random ones and the one with each of the girls' names (M&Ms were the only one that didn't come out blurry the the pics I took):
So that's my little love tree, next to our tiny mailboxes:
And not far from them sits another new decoration that the girls have had fun with this year: cute little decorative blocks that spell out "Love" "XOXO" "Hugs" & "Kiss", depending on which side they're on.
Although I have to constantly put them back together because the girls think it's funny to find random words to spell with them. Things that are NOT very love- or valentine-related. Such as the word "huge", a recent favorite. :)
