Whoa, BABY that heart is huge! A little bigger than I expected. :o) But that's okay....too much love is a good thing.
When I woke up on Saturday morning,I realized that I needed to get lots of "chores" done before I could "play", and I knew I'd need a push to get out of bed and get started.
But the girls, too, needed to do some chores before they could play. And my musical choices weren't going to get the job done for them.
So, I did what any mother would do...
I sacrificed.
:o(
Scrolled past all my favorites on my ipod and went right to:
But it was all good since I like that album too. :o) I wish there would have been a Miley Cyrus / Hannah Montana when I was Arissa's age! Then I could have liked her without it being embarrassing.
Anyway, whereas the girls messed around and took a few hours doing their chores, I got mine done in record time, cause I had some stuff I wanted to play with while the girls were busy:
New papercrafting/scrapbooking stuff.
Yummy!
I didn't really "papercraft" or scrapbook with it though.
Instead I made these:
Valentine Mailboxes for my sweethearts.
(After I finished the 3 of them, I realized gosh maybe Jesse deserved to get some love notes too. His is in the works.)
These were fresh off the work-bench, so excuse the hot-glue strands that I hadn't cleaned up yet...
Now I'm working on embroidering felt love notes to put inside the mailboxes from time to time.
I only made 2 of those so far tonight cause my fingers ache!
After chores were done, we did a Valentine craft and decorated paper heart doilies.
I love doilies. I know that makes me sound old...maybe I'm just an old knitting, doiley-loving granny at heart. Don't know. :o)
