Howard Family, Party of 5: Responsibility Tea

Last Friday, Arissa and about 10-15 of her classmates hosted a Tea Party for their parents/loved ones.

To honor the students for having turned in quality homework everyday, for so many consecutive months.

And to thank the parents/loved ones for helping them do that.

I thought it was the cutest idea!

The kids had the room all decorated:

They made a thank you note for each of their guests, and served us snacks & tea:

Mallory was at a playdate with a friend, so Nana, me, Jesse & Mariah were honored to be Arissa's guests.

(This was pre-tooth loss, as you can tell by the photo. Her grin is slightly less gappy here)

I was so proud of Arissa!

She does so much....with her music lessons, two nights a week of 4+ hour dance lessons, student council meetings, etc. and she still manages to get all her homework done and done right. She does most of it right after school (at Nana's), but if she needs help with something, she has to wait until she gets home. And because of all her extra-curicular stuff, sometimes that isn't until 9pm. So proud of her (and all her cute little friends).
