We spent Sunday night entertaining my niece.
It was so cool, I could get my kids to do anything just by mentioning "the baby"....
"Hurry and clean up your room, the BABY's going to be here!"
"Don't fight, you'll scare the BABY!"
"Someone get me a glass of water...I'm holding THE BABY!"
:)
Jesse's electronics were a big hit with her:
I got to share my favorite past-time with her too:
Everytime she ended up in my lap, we read a book:
Her face lit up everytime Missy walked into the room. Missy didn't feel the same way and quickly exited the room though.
If you'd been in the room with us that night, you would have thought it was Easter. Mallory brought out all her stuffed animal lambs to let Abigail play with, and we got out my knitted easter eggs because they're just the right size for her little hands.
The girls would sit and help Abigail take each knitted easter egg out of the basket....then count them as we put them back in....then take each one out....then put them all back, again and again.
I was happy, at least someone appreciates them! :)
Then at 11:00 on the dot she decided she was tired, she was done with the easter eggs and the books and the lambs. So I rocked her to sleep in my arms while humming church hymns over and over. So sweet.
